Submissions will be made available on
the list for a minimum of 4 weeks subject to demand and the list
is updated once a week, time and resources depending. The editor
works full time in the industry so uploading may take longer due to
external work commitments. Entries do not appear on film-tv.co.uk
instantly - wherever possible, though not guaranteed, you will
be informed when your entry can be viewed on the site.
- film-tv.co.uk specify that all persons seeking to post
to the crew/personnel list must have at least one full year's
full time professional (i.e. Paid, Commercial) film/TV
industry experience in the category that they are specifying. The category
and years of experience stated for that category must be supported
by listing broadcast credits, companies worked for, project names, dates
worked etc in the experience description. Any persons failing to comply
or posting false information will be permanently removed from the list.
- We regret that postings from students, recent graduates
or trainees cannot be accepted unless a full year's full time commercial/paid
industry experience is held, external from university, college or trainee
projects (before or after starting/finishing the course/traineeship
and not including short periods on 'work experience'.) film-tv.co.uk
cannot accept submissions using academic email addresses i.e. those
ending .ac.uk
- Due to space restrictions on our server film-tv.co.uk
cannot accept submissions to more than one category nor can we accept
full CV's. Experience descriptions are therefore limited to a maximum
of 60 words for crew and production companies, 40 for facilities/services
companies.
- film-tv.co.uk will not accept postings to the 'Job Vacancies'
list that are on a deferred, points or expenses only basis. Only in
exceptional circumstances will we publish unpaid positions in which
case this will be clearly outlined. Salary/rate details are required
prior to the list being posted, however we will not publish details
of salaries/rates unless permission is given to do so. Full contact
details as per the submission will be listed unless a request is made
for them not to appear. Where appropriate "email only applications"/"strictly
no phonecalls" etc should be clearly stated in the submission to
ensure only relevant contacts appear in the site listing.
- film-tv.co.uk does not accept submissions from crew requesting
information on vacancies; the 'Job Vacancy' registration form is solely
for the use of employers seeking crew.
- Amendments to crew, production company and facilities/services
listings are to be made via the relevant edit forms.
